Snow White and the Seven Keys to Doomsday by Justin Richards | Book Review

A Doctor Who-inspired take on the classic fairy tale, this version of Snow White is charming, empowering, and has that classic timey wimey feel to it. In this version, Snow White is the daughter of a gardener and palace keeper, and she has to prevent the evil Queen Salima from finding the seven keys to doomsday that are hidden throughout the castle and ultimately ending the world as we know it.

I loved how Snow White was portrayed as a strong-willed, intelligent young woman, and of course I loved the Whovian details. This is a delightful, quick read that I recommend to anyone looking for a twist on the familiar tale.

VERDICT: 4/5

*This book is only available in the gorgeous Time Lord Fairy Tales collection, which you can find here.
