Adult Swim Games’ latest title, Rain World, just received a beautiful, albeit heart-wrenching, opening cinematic. The visuals are lush and colorful, while the message of the trailer hints at the journey you’ll be facing.
In Rain World, you’ll play as a slug cat, a nomadic creature that looks super yummy to predators. In groups, there’s safety; unfortunately, you’re all alone on this journey. You’ll have to traverse industrial ruins while scavenging for prey, while also using stealth to hide from carnivores that want to eat YOU. Β There are 12 distinct regions for you to explore in this game, and the threat of rain will be an added impetus to find shelter and survive.
