When I first heard of My Last Days, I was intrigued. A passion project directed and created by Justin Baldoni (Jane the Virgin), this docuseries originally premiered on SoulPancake. The first episode I watched was Zach Sobiech’s story, and I bawled through the entire video. To see someone who had so little time and who was going through the most difficult situation imaginable be so full of light and positivity was astounding and incredibly inspirational. Each subsequent episode continued to inspire me, and the tears never stopped rolling. My heart felt full of hope and love, and I learned to appreciate my own life more as a result. My Last Days helped me through some serious depression, and it was a blessing to me. It made me realize that life is precious, and we shouldn’t take it for granted.
So when I heard that The CW would be airing My Last Days as a special three day broadcast, I was thrilled. The CW is an amazing platform and I’m incredibly grateful and overjoyed to know that more people will be able to watch this seriously life-changing project. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Just be sure to have a box of tissues next to you.
My Last Days premieres on The CW this Wednesday, August 17th at 9/8c.
