Holy shitballs!! It was just recently announced that Nordic Games is being rebranded as THQ Nordic. There are currently 23 projects in development, 13 of which have not been announced yet. The majority of these titles are based on former THQ properties and franchises. The publisher currently has two internal development studios, Grimlore Games in Munich, Germany and Rainbow Studios in Phoenix, Arizona.
This is freaking amazing news. THQ Nordic holds the rights to brands such as Darksiders, Red Faction, MX vs. ATV, Destroy All Humans, and many more. Could we see brand new games in these franchises? I would love to see a new Darksiders or Red Faction, personally, and I’m a little too excited about this announcement (like, I’m practically jumping up and down in excitement). THQ Nordic obviously loves and cherishes their IPs, and I have complete faith that all of their upcoming titles will be incredibly polished and, most importantly, FUN.
If you’re going to Gamescom, you can see some of their announced titles in action. We Sing, Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Battlechasers: Nightwar, and more will be shown off.
